He talked about it in his post match interview

Robie said he felt really confident in Mekhi going into that match because you can gameplan and scout him but there is not replicating the feeling of him getting his hands on you. Mentioned the size of his hands and his arm length as well.

I think he didn't go crazy because he expected Mekhi to wrestle well and win.
